Of course. The Q's are HOW MUCH less and how long until you can actually close a sale.

OP just move. There are 2 kinds of peace and quiet. The one you hear outside and the one you hear inside your brain. Even if you lose financially, put a dollar amount on the peace and quiet in the brain that would make the loss a washout. Remember there is actual dollar cost to worrying and not being happy as it affects brain, heart physically. You may not feel it much now but would lead to something serious.

Life is not all about making money.

I would get out. No idea where you are working, but unless it’s local to your home I don’t see the advantage. You don’t need a 5 bedroom home as a single guy and the taxes are insane.

Move closer to work and your friends

Waiting to see what the realtor's comps are. Luckily, there were a few homes that sold really high recently. Perhaps there's hope to recoup some of what I paid.

I work from home, but I have to see clients. My clients are in NJ, Westchester and Connecticut. Thus, where I live now is pretty far. I just made a bad decision.

Since you have Jewish people in your family, Mr. President, perhaps you'd like to purchase and convert to a synagog? I'm sure Mr. Kushner, Ivanka or Eric's wife would appreciate it. :'p

Ok, so you are in the northern end of Rockland County but your really not in the boonies! Your about 40 miles from NYC and fairly close to Northern NJ where there are several large corporate headquarters in several different industries.

I can’t imagine you’d take a huge loss in unloading your house. You might not recover all that you put into it, however it is within a reasonable commuting distance to several different areas that command an above average salary.
