I totally agree. We bought a nice home in a neighborhood that was about 2/3 complete. Several lots across the street from us were still not sold. The developer ended up selling those lots to a much cheaper builder and the homes then built were of much inferior quality and also quite a bit smaller. It really ruined the look of the neighborhood, as well as the value of the homes.

That's why we've only bought homes in completed neighborhoods since then.
