I tell my buyers and sellers I send out email updates with what marketing was done, response, reactions to open houses, showings etc, every Monday morning. At that point my clients can tell me if they don't want that many updates.

But ultimately, it doesn't matter what my realtor says or thinks. The potential buyers have seen my house and, in not offering to buy it, are making their point. I think the price is too high. I don't understand why my realtor won't just lower it. I don't get why he's avoiding me and the price reduction.

I think he made a mistake on the list price and won't admit his mistake.

I think I'm the one being flexible in lowering the price.
Yes - we know this, which is why some have encouraged you to go to his broker! This is a very clear case of incompetence and unresponsiveness - you can resolve it with the broker - whether that would be to dissolve the listing contract all-together or have the broker recommend a responsive agent in the office. I don't understand your attitude of doing nothing.

In real estate, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE. You don't know what the market is going to do in the future. You have received feedback from the market that the price is too high and you know your agent is not doing his job.

I have never heard of a client asking for a price reduction and an agent refusing. It's just not okay.
