This house is currently for sale in my market and I keep getting ads for it in my facebook feed.

What's with the front entry built for a giant?
The only thing that would really crack me up more is if the front door is also 25 feet tall.

Do skinny Giants exist?

As for garages, our neighborhood has a mix. Some are front and some are in the rear.

It is, and it didn't have to be. If the entry arch was just *one* story tall, it would be a very cute place.

And even as someone who doesn't generally care for front facing garages, the carport is less in your face. Certainly in this case, that space definitely contributes to the architecture of the home esp. without a car inside there and you just see that open space.

Maybe it's just garage doors that I don't like
Thank you both!

Because they would end up looking as “real” as the fake river rocks, and the fake shutters that builders associate with architecture?
