Good realtors and loan agents would never do that when the process had some major hiccups.

No. 1 - your address and name should never be there. I can understand a neighborhood or community name and maybe your first name. Then again, her argument could be it's public record.

Are you sure that you didn’t sign a waiver about advertising even if it was on your realtor's personal Facebook post?

DH and I bought a house in the spring, and (in the fine print) there was a section that stated that our property (but not names and address) could be used on the realtor's website and social media. Luckily we could opt-out.

It’s really strange that she would use your full name and address especially on her personal on Facebook.

This is in a condo complex. There are dozens of condos in the complex.

Looking back, she is not a local and has only been here a few years. She seemed like an airhead and just not that familiar with how things are done here. That kind of behavior might have been acceptable where she comes from in California, but most locals are a little more private than that.

I contacted the listing agent's office about the sign and the lockbox. No one responded.
