We did - today! Woo hoo! I'm now back to one house, and all is well in my world. (sigh of relief...) Now, if somehow we could only get 'dogmom's' house sold... ~~~vibes~~~
My mom also signed a contract on Wednesday. Finally! (As soon as she dropped the price to where it should have been all along, bam! along comes a serious buyer. Surprise, surprise!) 20% down, should have no trouble getting financing, inspection is next Wednesday but with a brand new house, no worries there.
My house was on the market FSBO for about 30 days (if that), hers was listed for about 60 if my memory serves me. Just, FYI. And to all those arguing about agency vs. FSBO, no shoe fits every foot. She's happy with her agent, I'm happy with my lack of one.
