When we sold our last house the buyer's inspector was obsessed with the electrical. He checked every single outlet in the house (and broke one to boot). He missed a light in the upstairs bath that didn't work though. And he asked for something else, can't remember what, that two electricians told us was against code. The whole thing was really odd.
