the place was offered for shortsale and 3 weeks ago was taken off the market. i recently saw the place on the county clerk's mortgage foreclosure auction list with the name of the owner presented as the defendant and the name of the bank presented as the plaintiff. the date has also been set for 2 weeks time.
would i be correct in saying then that this is the final step in the foreclosure process?
