Have you had the opportunity to tell the buyer's agent that you received full price yet? Oh, to be a fly on the wall......

Grateful does not even begin to describe what we feel.
Wow! I was a bit concerned when I first read this thread, but it just goes to show that sometimes following your get instinct is the right thing to do. Congratulations! I'm so happy for you!

Default I'm confused as to why you're confused?

What I really want is a margarita! LOL I swear I'm losing my mind. LOL

Well the buyer's agent called ours over the weekend truly not understanding why we walked away.

Our RE reminded buyer's RE that 2nd deposit was due on 16th. Also reminded agent of email & voice mail (on the 24th) stating a 2nd check would NOT be delivered UNLESS we accepted their terms." Email included signed notice of termination.

Buyer's RE feels that the moment THEY rescinded termination we should have gone through with the deal. (My blood still boils when I get to this point.)

I'm confused. Buyer gave us 2 signed termination papers twice during 10 days. Was I not supposed to take them seriously?

Uggh, my brain hurts...

.
Your buyer was playing hard ball. I was nervous when you cancelled the contract in case nothing better came along, but it did! Due to your previous buyer's behavior you have the perfect legal and moral out and can feel perfectly free to enjoy your good fortune!!

Good for you I say, and tough luck to your hard ball playing former buyer!
