One of the most awesome sites I've stumbled upon, (including this one ^^)
Awesome satellite mapping with house prices and street view pics of every house.
Great for those new on the real esate market and anyone who just wants to get an idea of the current state and value of the houses in specific areas.
Sorry if you have already heard of it.

Not very accurate for my location. I know of 4 houses within 3 blocks of my home that have sold in the last 3 months. None of them show up. And a couple of the houses listed are higher on Zillow than they are in the local paper and real estate guides.

Great website but I also found it to be misleading with the estimated values of the homes...some showing up too high and others too low! But it is still pretty cool to get a "bird's eye view" of your home

Zillow sucks and I wonder what agenda the OP has. Read their messages boards. Zillow is a HUGE joke.

There are SEVERAL websites that you can get a birds eye view of your home without all the Zillow nonsense to accompany it.

I entered the address of one of my houses, located in a well established subdivision.

It was so way off I didn't even recognize it at first ...........

One thing to keep in mind, however, is that zillow values pull information from county public records. and with prces declining it may not be accurate... for example the county has my house appraised 40K over what the currnet bank appraised value is..

also.. it takes time for the county records to be entered for zillow to pick up.. so lets say a house sold 3 or 4 months ago for x amount but a home similar to the one you are looking at closed last week for LESS than the one that shows in zillow..

the best place to still get the most accurate and up to date pricing stats is from a Realtor with access to the MLS data.. that is up to date day to day.

agreed....zillow is pure hype and the prices are off. I realize they update everyday and nobody can accurately tell you the value of your house from some computer algorithm, but it does provide some useful information.
