Do yourself a HUGE favor and do not try to second guess the people that come to showings of your house. From my experience, some people stay seemingly forever and never are seen or heard from again and some will be there for a very short time and buy it. The house we just sold was bought by a family from California who bought it based on pictures of our home taken by their realtor. Go figure! Your home could sell tomorrow or 7 months from now. You just never know. Best of luck to you!!!!!

Ours has been on the market a week now, and we have a showing on Sat. I just hope they can look past the student-looking stuff the tenants have. The tenants move out the end of this month, and it will show much better empty.

Good luck to you, wiley!

Thanks..us too! But today I'm angry at my neighbor..new neighbor! He's a landscaper and his guys are in the process of cutting down all the trees behind our pool area! So much for privacy!!! I just hope he plans on replacing them with some nice decorative trees! I was thinking I should call him at his place of business and asking him if he plans on replacing them... if not, I'm running out today to grab a few dozen pine trees!

Do you think you're able to maybe tell him to hold off till you maybe sell or give you a few weeks?

Maybe he's going to put a fence up?

According to the other neighbor who's privacy was completely destroyed today..400-feet of tree line removed!!! He plans on installing a landscape berm around the entire property and adding a deer fence and tons of pine trees. Sure hope he does it quickly as it looks like sh1t! Everything is blowing in my pool... strong winds now coming from that direction..all my patio stuff is blowing around. It's just really rude of him not to come over and explain. Yes, he is within his rights but he should still talk to his "new" neighbors!
Sure hope it doesn't put the people coming to see the house tonight off!

Wiley-it would have been a bit more "neighborly" if he had mentioned something as he probably knows your home is listed.
