Oh can I gripe please????

Why do realtors after showing your home leave lights on, basement door open, closet doors open?????????????????? This is one big reason house comes off market when we head to NJ for our son's wedding.

Gripe away I have had them leave the front door standing wide open once and it was cold and raining outside! The last one yea the ones that loved my home had brought one of the dogs in with them! Left a water trail in the den...not real happy there.

Had not heard from them and told my agent not to call till Monday unless there was a showing on my big house. Of course hadn't had a call yet.

Judy- Happy Belated Birthday! I hope this year is one of the best ever.

Dogmom-Loved the pics of the “nukes”! Uhm, actually we are big fans.LOL. We must live near them and basically have ALWAYS lived with them close. My dh was in the navy /subs so he was very involved with them there. In SC, he worked for a nuclear plant as a reactor operator. Now, up here he is at a different plant as a nuclear instructor. Lets just say- Nuclear Power Plants are very important to my family! One of the challenges up here is to find a neighborhood that you can’t see the ‘ towers’ too much.

Crazyma- The hot tang drink was one of my favorites growing up. My mom made it in the winter after we would go sled riding. Oh, I am so excited to be able to make that up here! We sure didn’t need that in SC. Your gif of the buyers/maze was cute. Maybe if we place a HUGE x on each of our homes, it will lure buyers to make a offer! We can say THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU!

Lacey- Sorry about the 12 minute showing. I know its frustrating to think that you cleaned up and made the house perfect to have someone just walk in and do that. We haven’t heard anything about our showing today. I am hoping the agent AT LEAST turned off the lights and locked the door!

Painter- You scared me when you said that the agent left the door wide open! Grrr….if ours is left open, hopefully my neighbors see it and not the burglars. LOL. Have you went out yet this weekend and “got tired”?

NJ- Have a great time and win big this evening!

Joe- Welcome back…

Today, must be a flashback day for us all.

This morning I had to be up bright and early because my oldest was taking his ACT again. When, I dropped him off I was laughing about how it brought back memories of when I went. Then, I went to pick him up and realized how much times have changed!

I am not joking ALMOST every kid that came out of the door( I was there 1/2 hour early) flipped open their cell phone and started texting and talking. Now, I admit we text a lot in my family, but hardly ever really talk on it. It was just strange seeing ALL of these kids walking and talking on the phone. It was like watching the Stepford Wives. They were in the trance. How did we all survive without the cell phone? I do not think my oldest would survive if we took it away from him.( He knows if he messes up-the cell and computer goes FIRST! We know and so does he that is his lifeline. LOL)

You all were making me laugh about the songs and memories. I am a 80s child. I graduated in 1987! Yes, I was the big hair kind of girl! I remember going to the Bon Jovi concert and teasing my hair big.

Oh, my! My kids look at pictures and ask, "What were you thinking?" My kids saw my prom pictures and were like- why would you wear a Gone with the Wind kind of dress? ( You know long and puffy). My son went to prom last year and I swear the girls looked like they were about 25! They all wear the "stipper" kind of dresses and shoes. ( No offense to the parents of girls, but...thats just what it reminds me of) I know its just the style! Things just change.

How many of you would really want to go back to your high school days?
