Morning everyone! Crazyma so glad you are back on!

Mawoods, Hang in there. Huntsville IMO has always expensive for housing. I have friends there and it amazed me what they paid for their little place, wow. Are you looking inside city limits or out? Outside use to be more reasonable if you can take the drive. Don't give up I am sure the right place is there waiting on YOU!!!

I have a showing today between 1:30pm and 3:30pm....they are looking at a bunch of houses in my development....

Other person supposedly coming in next week to look at our house.....

No nothing and I am still hoping to hear something anything on Monday. You know the old saying either s**t or get off the pot, well that is what needs to be said here. My sis who was a broker for yrs told me last nite that when someone says oh we love the place, ect and that goes to the seller as feedback they normally make you sweat waiting as part of the game. She advise that my agent doesn't follow up till Tues p.m., because the buyers may be waiting to see if we call which would tell them I am desperate or anxious. Guess this makes sense but gee if a house has been listed close to a year doesn't that tell them the same? Well this seller isn't going to wait till Tues, Monday I want to know something!

Thanks Painter for the encouragement. We are looking everywhere - in Huntsville proper and out. The builders are going crazy because of the expectations of the growth that the BRAC will bring. Not lowering prices much. Thought we could make up some of our cash equity loss we had on the sale but not sure we will be able to. Otherwise, Huntsville is a great town. Glad to be here. We went on a walking tour yesterday morning of Old Town and the history and old homes are fascinating.
Good luck on your lookers. I do think you will have a few days to sweat it out - negotiating so maybe that is a good sign.

There are some beautiful homes in Huntsville and it is a pretty area. We use to take the kids there on field trips yrs ago and of course I have drove threw there a zillion times heading back and forth to the Murfreesobor, TN. Oh and I love the junk stores there too! When my friends moved there on a job relo they ended up staying almost 10 yrs and they loved every minute of it. He worked in aerodynamics some where, and she did mission work all over the world. So for her if it had in door plumbing it was a mansion, lol!

Painter couldn't I do agree with your sister but maybe there is another way around that. I am no realtor but if your realtor wouldn't get into trouble couldn't she say to the other agent Monday we have had over the weekend one or two very serious buyers and we wonder what your clients want to do. We are expecting at least one offer by Weds. Maybe a little lie might just push them to give you an offer.

Crazyma Glad that it was your computer that was broke and not you. I never thought I would worry about someone on line but there is a first for everything. I even counted the days since your last post.

Yup that is why I say I want to hear something on Mon. I don't think he needs to actually lie just tell them we want to know something. They can answer or not, if not well then I still have my answer. Who knows in this day and age they may still call today and have something in the a.m. They have a long distance marriage and this is the middle of the two homes, they are not selling either of the two houses just buying a third. Kinda strange couple but as long as they have the cash I don't care!

Cash says a lot. Makes you want to sell to them and have no hassles mortgage wise.
