Hey all!!!!! Well, we are all moved into the new place and my internet just got hooked up. So of course the first thing I had to do was jump on here and see what is going on. I missed you all so much! Sounds like it was an exciting weekend around here! I will have to go and look at some of the threads.

The move went AWESOME. I have a very large family that all live here so we had about 20 people helping. I had about 7 people at the new house with me finishing cleaning and all the guys at the old house moving the stuff. We started at 8 and by 5, everyone was headed home. They got everything moved over in one trip because we had 2 trailers and lots of trucks. It was great. They moved in all the boxes and put them where they were supposed to go and set up all the bedrooms so that we had a place to sleep. I started to cry because I walked into the new nursery and they had even set up the crib and have the room all put together. It kind of made the baby more real. So yesterday I felt kind of sick so I rested most of the day and today I took the day off work to work on getting everything unpacked and put away.

My SIL and sister stayed at the old house and got it all cleaned and ready for showings so hopefully we can just move past these asshats from last week and get a real buyer!

Lacey - I am so happy your dress came in! I want pictures.

Dogmom - enjoy Vegas girl. I love that place!

Anita - good luck with your new job!

Judy - I am so sorry to hear about your nephew. He will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Kristine

And I thought school was difficult.... I hate tests...okay. Will do my best, but if DH finds me passed out...he will hunt you down...and probably thank you.

Default Ot

Sorry off topic but what I regret most was missing out on the Hippie years. Graduated from HS in 63, Married 64 and mom in 66. No time for the Hippie thing. I did wear the hip huggers and the tye died tops. Took a puff on a no no at a New years eve party courtesy of a friend that was a cop. Felt nothing and he said I was doing it wrong (not worth a second try). DH found out about that maybe 10 years ago when we were talking about the early years. What a look I got from him.
