Hi everyone. Well, FIL is better and they're on their way home so I am better too! LOL!

Talked to the agent who showed our house Monday night (since I was gone in Vegas) and she said the couple is from France and have narrowed it down to ours and one other. But they're not going to make a decision until they come back in a couple of weeks. Whatevah!! LOL!

We have another showing tomorrow. We'll see.

I'm so exhausted from this week! Wow!

I hope everyone is good, well, whatever the proper English term is! Great news on the doc's, the bidding war (WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!) Congratulations!

I'll talk to you all soon.

A martini...Ok Texas, when we meet up with you in Austin we must have martini's...

Fancy, glad FIL is on the mend..now where do they live? They say the best place to get sick is in a casino since there are so many cameras and security..I saw that on the news a few days ago..makes sense I guess...

Lorrie and Niki, are you getting any smoke from those horrible fires on the coast..stay inside and run the a/c..we used to deal with it quite often when we lived in SoCal with the fires..it's amazing how much smoke and ash travels so far...gee wonder if look forward to all that again...not too many fires out in the desert, but it does happen..

Lacey, we got escrow papers in the mail today to sign and return, so I am taking that as a good sign of something! Haven't read them yet, will before I head to bed, I seem to do my best reading then, DogPaw has headed off before me and I can read in peace and quiet lol.

I have more pictures to put in my albums here from our Vegas trip and also the kids opening their gifts..be sure to check out the shirt my son the groom is wearing..he is into stopping and shopping at truck stops, 'nuff said!

Escrow papers--that IS a good sign.

Martinis--OK! Have you ever had mojitos? I love them! I'm taking y'all to play chicken sh*t bingo at a dive bar in Austin!! It's my favorite place in Austin! Don't expect martinis there--it's beer or soda!

Shelly, beer is more than fine with me..I need to do the album..got busy..
My mom was texting me earlier and she said my DAD talked to our agent today and the loan is on track..so we will see. I do find myself thinking of where I will put things in the new house, what I will keep, what I will get rid of. we do need to buy a new sofa and I know Carl is going to want to keep his old Archie Bunker recliner, maybe I can recover it or put it on the back patio lol...see i need to stop thinking about it..but it's hard not to.

Where is Lorrie? Niki? Hammy? everyone else??

I really feel good about this house for you and Carl. It sounds like your dad really wants the two of you down there near them! Is this house close to both your kids?

I can't wait to move to Texas so I can have visitors! Have you ever been to Texas?

My computer is still on the blink (I am at work)...I am going through serious withdrawal from myspace and facebook! Can't access those from here.

Texas, yeah it gives my dad something to do..he is a control freak, on reason we could not all live in the same house, but we can handle a few blocks away, and my mom is really lonely...they are getting up there, won't be around forever so we want to be close to help them if we can. Just be company to them...Mom already wants to have the dogs all over to swim..my nephew has a dog too...haha..

Our older son lives about an hour from where we are buying, the younger one, the new groom, lives just east of Sacramento, so it's an 8 hour drive.

I have never been to Texas, changed planes once in Dallas, that was it. Can't wait to come visit! My best girlfriend's daughter lives in San Antonio and loves it, she teaches high school math, engaged to be married..

Carl nephew and wife and kids just moved to Houston with is work..so we do have some connections to Texas..

Morning Painter-yes it's good to see company come but just as good to see them leave! Our schedules, etc just get disrupted.

Well gang 5 days left on the listing and we're seriously thinking of cancelling. In one year our listing agent hasn't shown the house once. We're thinking of FSBO as we can reduce substantially due to her 6%. Also we don't have to sell. just want to. Truthfully, wish we had rented and never bought til we were sure.

Good morning all. I thought I'd try to get a post in before the house gets crazy.

Painter, how's the bidding wars going? Texasheart, I'm so sorry about the people choosing another house. That's so hard, I know. I cried countless tears when we were trying to sell. It always made me crazy when another home was chosen over ours after it made the short list. They say it's not personal but it is!!!!! I'll say lots and lots of prayers the house gets an offer soon. for you too, fancypants.

hammy, how are you feeling? all well with the little baby and the pregnancy?

crazyma, glad your feeling better.

Lacy, yea, biopsies. I read all you went through with the procedure. So sorry!! That happened to my mom and she was at Mayo in AZ. No one should have to go through that! They should have sedated you more!

Hi to Lorriem and HDL.

Hope I remembered everyone and hi to all!!! Have a wonderful day.
