When I was living in the Bay Area, California recently (2003-2007), many people were treating me like I was the anti-Christ or something for saying home prices were unreasonable, and that it would fall at least 60% from the peak. I'm just glad to have gotten out of the area, and have stay reasonably employed in tech. If I email anybody nowadays to chit chat and ask how things are, for some strange reason I will get no response.
