Thanks Gold...but I have about given up for this year.

I sent you some questions re: Watson. Do you think I should not be letting him sleep in my bed on my nights off?

PS even though my eyes were burned by an R sign, there's nothing wrong IMO with Watson sleeping with you. If he ain't peeing in the bed, why not have something cuddly to snuggle with.

OMG I just sent Tex a long dm, hope I didn't bore her. The textbook reason Joy, is that they will think they are on your level and you want to maintain pack leader at least during training. The little ones too can become especially spoiled. I have always noticed my Pom will climb to the highest point on my husband ie his shoulder and in his face to try to get top dog in the family so it's a valid theory but whatever works for each individual in my book. I did let my Yorkie in bed a few times to calm her when she was new to the household and then she got comfortable with her crate. My motto was always that a dog would not cause me to have to replace a mattress because it would **** me off. Oooh your gonna be 51 soon..(I will be coming up on 47) time to PARTY Night girls.

LOL - well, when Albert is sleeping between my legs tonight I'll remind him Just kiddin' ya girl, i'm literally insane at this point 'cause I'm so tired and do get what you're saying. Have to admit though with Sasha Anne my little girl who we had to put to sleep at 14 (couldn't walk) always slept with us and we even bought a king size bed 'cause she slept sideways - my Rott same thing, but he slept like a human with his head on the pillow (I have some hysterical stories about my Rott that I'll share sometime 'cause that boy learned who was the boss real quick). But my animals always knew who was the Alpha 'cause I AM the Enforcer after all though do have to admit Albert has his way, like right now of saying MOM IT'S TIME FOR BED so I'm streaming something to get my tired butt to fall asleep. So when's your Bday? Ah 47 - I remember it well - I think, 'cause had one heck of a Bday party. Considering I'm going to start counting backwards we'll be the same age soon! Nighty night Goldy Girl and anyone else who's still awake at this god forsaken hour.

I have heard so many horror stories. of how these deals fall apart.

Barb, Congratulations on the sale of the little house. That's great. Must be such a relief, and now are you going to start on your landscaping? Carl must be pumped to be outta there! How was your vacation?

Roth, Love the new kitty. She is gorgeous. Did you mention how old she is? It's great that she is warming up to you so fast. Any luck on the job front?

Thanks for reps and dms.
Yeah! Congrat's! I am so happy for you. Things will go great, it is your time.

Not that I know of but they did not check at my last appointment. But I am feeling very heavy "down there" so I know she is there. Plus my tummy looks so much different all of a sudden.

Oh girl, I'm so happy for you. I have every faith that you WILL close.

Sophie is about 14 months old. She is a small kitty and probably won't get much bigger. She needs a bit of fattening up yet as the woman who did the rescue said she was pretty skinny. Because of the botched declawing she became pretty incapacitated...stumbling, crying, etc....and the woman who originally adopted her (and had her declawed after signing a paper saying she wouldn't) then got to hate her (and was even going to have her put to sleep), so we aren't sure they fed her much and not even certain she wasn't abused. They finally contacted the rescue (she adopted from them) and asked if they would take her back instead of putting her to sleep. Of course they took her back, but the woman has been doing rehab for about 4 months. Even took her to a holistic doc to have accupressure and massage to help her walk right again. She still favors her right front paw a bit but because we have mostly rug (tile only in bathrooms and kitchen), it is easier on her. I'm not totally against declawing, in fact I especially wanted one that was declawed, but I can't believe that a vet could botch a job so badly as this one. She's back under the bed again. I hope I can get her out when the neighbors come to see her later. The landscape crew mowed the lawns today and used the leaf blowers, so she got scared of that.
Poor little thing. I cannot believe that a vet could screw up that badly. Maybe she did not take him to a vet to get it done and that is the problem. She does not sound like the type of person that is an "animal" person if she was ready to put her to sleep after what SHE did to the poor thing.

Sorry about the R sign! There's no excuse for that!

Well...I put Watson in his crate last night inside of his pen. I don't lock the crate...he is free to come and go out of it within the confines of the pen. He barked for about 10 minutes then whined/cried for another 10 minutes, then quiet! This morning I woke up and all was quiet. I went to the bathroom, still quiet! I went out to my DR and there he was sitting like a good little boy waiting for his mama!! He was so excited to see me. Gosh, I LOVE that feeling! He didn't pee or poo in his pen at all last night! I took him out and he went potty outside. Then LaCoda (the BMD) came outside and played with Watson--Watson just adores LaCoda! Now the little darling finished eating and is sitting on my lap while I type away.
