I understand this but "my" boy has no excuse what so ever and he knows he is doing wrong. As soon as I walk into the room he will hide, so I know it is him.

Well this is weird especially since he knows what he did was wrong; so did Heiden but he was pissed at me, so . . . that's really weird. Did he start doing this before the guys were shooting off the guns?

Love the rotties too. Here is a story for you with Rotties. One of my customers had two hugh ones, kept them in a kennel when they went to wook, inside they made great guard dogs for them. Not friendly, very little social skills and very intimidating! One morning I showed up to work on their renovation and the kennel door was open and they were gone. They had boot scooted across a very busy road to the horse stables across the street to chase some horses. I could not get ahold of the owners and I had to try to get them back home before they got hurt either by a horse or hit by a car. Long story short, I caught them and got back to the kennels as the owners both came flying into the drive. They were scared of them biting someone and just couldn't figure out how I caught them. I went over to the kennel and let them out again, made them sit and then I rolled them around on the ground, lol..........some guard doggies!
That's too funny - people sometimes assume all Rotts are mean and why I always kept Heiden (or at least tried) to keep him from escaping cause I didn't want anyone to shoot him or anything. Maybe these guys are only mean to perceived threats??? Didn't sound like YOU had a hard time with them LOL Only time Heiden actually charged someone was when a friend came in during the winter and had a big parka on. Heiden literally charged him and stopped about a foot from him, hair bristling and low growl. No biting though. I just got him and told my friend 'take off that dang parka now!' Then Heiden was fine. He did use to play mind games with boyfriends - act all sweet and everything until I would go into the kitchen; then he would just glare at the guys and growl. Not try to bite them or anything, but intimidate them. I'd come back into the room and he'd just be sitting there like 'oh i've been so good' while the guy had wet himself LOL Actually Stefans dad was the only guy who Heiden immediately took to - though he did try to push him out of bed the first night Gil spent the night. That's when they had a 'chat' about how Heiden would have to share mom

She is very pleased with how well she is training her "staff". Guessing I'm going to keep her because I just spent about $50 on litter, toys and food over the weekend. I have pretty much found out the trick to keeping her from throwing up is to make sure she has food all the time so she isn't starving in the morning and gobbles down too fast. I am still giving her a little bit of canned food, but more as a treat since I'm only giving her about a teaspoonful. Hopefully I can wean her off that eventually.

Guess it's back to organizing my room. Everybody have a great day! I'm so jealous of all the cruising! I really, really need a vacation away from everything "real estate". I keep telling DH that the whales of Hawaii are calling me, but don't think he's taking the hint.
Well, you and me both about cruising - have a dang office in the Caribbean and can't get over there so I can be at the beach. Not fair I say, just not fair Had a talk with Boquete people that I absolutely had to get over there - not just because I like have an office, but need to see some dang water. Glad kitty settling in and most cats by nature don't want to be held a lot. Albert greets me when I come home (yawning like he just woke up), whines a bit to be pet, now he's back in bed taking his 'pre-nightly nap'. He'll come back out when he thinks it's time for me to go to bed. He has his routine, pre-nightly nap, nibble on some kibble, go potty, annoy mom to go to bed LOL

Well hey that's not too bad! Monday not too bad considering it was Monday Ugh - showing one of our high end listings tomorrow and fingers crossed - God I want to sell that bad boy. I mean, really really want to sell it. Well we'll see 'cause we ALL know about buyers though we do actually have mutual friends and know they've wanted to move up here from pacific coast so . . . 10:30 showing. We'll see (please God)

Ah. Well we had a showing today. Zany realtor called us last week (7 days ago) to be exact and said, oh, theres a couple that has cash (don't they all?LOL) and can do a 30 day closing, can you?? I said yes, definitely. So we were one of 4 homes...said she would tell other realtor (diff. agency)that yes, we can close in 30 days.. IF of course, they like ours the best.
So today...I called realtor and asked what was up with them? that they are coming in today? and no appt made? She said she just heard from other realtor....so 1p.... She said just call my office and tell my secretary (I didnt want to wait for her to call me!)and said 1p? She said yes. That is when they will come over. I said, ok...no problem. Let's see. 11 am. I find this out. HOw RUDE buyers are to expect people to wait til last minute!! ugh. Anyway, it's 1215p here and I see the freakin agent coming up the walk and the couple/.I 'm like "shiiiiiiittz"!!!!!!!!!! so I grabbed the Dyson and dragged it downstairs.....lol..and poked my head out door....said, wasn't it 1p for the showing? Realtor said no, she was told 12-1p (she was probably done with the other 3 hses and ours was last on short list)...early LOL..Nice...so I sort of met the people...The guy was nice...older couple.the realtor is yelling to me--You can stay, well only be a few minutes".. I thought, geez.. I cleaned my ass off and now they tell me to staylol that they won't be long!! and she says it AGAIN!! relentlessly lol...I said, no it's ok, I am on my way out anyway!!
then she says to me "How do I lock the door? " LOL. ok. It has a combination lock on the door....I said, do you need the combination? she said, ruffling through her things..that no, she had it! Ah gotta love it.

Dear God, how bad is that - at least good thing is you know it's not JUST your agent but dang girl there are some lame Asz agents in your area.

So I dashed off. So anyway,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, feedback *which I didn't want to hear...I just want a freakin offer. Feedback EQUALS no offer. Case closed LOL...

Realtor says oh, they LOVED IT BUT they want to look at a condo tomorrow. So you all know what that means!! Look at a condo? We're talking 2 different animals here. I mean really! When I've had people want to see condos, that's ALL they want to see - single family homes, that's it - never had anyone want to see nice big house, then condo. Wonder if the agent even sat down and really discussed their needs - wait, never mind think I just answered my own question which is NO

Realtor did ask how negotiable are THEY????? AND mine said they have some room but make an offer!!!! I reinerated to our lovely realtor again not to give a frickin amt...because NO ONE WILL EVER give us a damn offer. Ever. So here we sit. I was feelin it all week. That is why I dont even want to post this shat to get my hopes up lol.........it always falls through. So we will see. My line is 'like life is negotiable, so is list so let's put in an offer and see' I'd rather have an offer that my clients can counter, than blah blah blah - nada.

One thing the other realtor did say was , do the people LIVE there presently or go in and tidy it? My realtor said, oh no, they live there...She said wow, and that is was absolutely immaculate. At least that made me feel good. Ah, well now that was nice to hear especially with kids

I figured they were going to come back and say, we need an OTIS ELEVATOR in the house...and that they couldn't walk the stairs...............LMAO. *older couple*....

Oh, yea, my husband got hit in the face when a door slammed in his face lol last week when it was so windy here and broke his molar!!!! so he might need root canal. YUK! We have the worse luck here...
Oh, poor DH - would have been funny if he wouldn't now be facing a possible root canal. Ouch! (though to be honest I did chuckle a bit thinking about him just standing there and BAM)

Tex, did you realize there's like a million dogs named Watson? So everyone needs to make sure they're voting for the right one 'cause one looks real similar to our guy (the 'real' Watson got 3 votes today from Auntie Joy LOL)

So a client brought in some fresh baked bread, fresh out of the oven just as I was leaving - dang, I love fresh bread. I'm sitting here chowing down. I literally could live on fresh bread and mashed potatos. Yummmy. I have a burger I picked up, but threw it in the fridge for later 'cause I wanted to munch on this bread. Mmmmmm

We discussed going FSBO, but we would still probably be stuck paying the buyer's agent anyway, so it would only save us about 5 grand and not sure it's worth the hassle for that, plus we would still have to pay the lawyer to do up all the agreement papers, etc. I'm just plain disgusted and depressed about it all. If "D"H had done what I wanted him to do over a year ago, it might have sold by now. But I'm sure we lost a lot of potentials due to the pix of the faded siding.
I am going to take my house off the market at the end of October. The tax credit expires Nov 30th, so to close by that date...someone needs to have an offer in by the end of Oct at the very latest. If no offer by then...off it comes. I am thinking about relisting with Howard Hanna in Feb. They put a listing up 1 street over from me--the house was on the market less than a week and is under contract now.

A condo vs a house like yours?!?! That doesn't even make sense...sounds like their realtor isn't doing her job to find out exactly what they want.

Poor Scott!! First your daughter, now him! You and Noah better run for cover!!

My friend used to own 2 rotts. The female, Sasha was meaner than a junkyard dog. The male, Axel, was the friendliest dog you would ever want to meet. He was HUGE.... you couldn't get your hands to touch when you put your arms around his neck!

Yes, quite a few "Watson's" on the contest. The contes is RIGGED! Someone has over 555 votes since Sunday! C'mon!!!

Hop in that chopper and get the H up here. I will have your desert waiting for you along with some cold beers!! Watson says "Hi Aunt Joy--wanna rub my belly?"

BARB: In case you are reading this! .....How's the cruise going? Are you sipping some good cocktails? I cannot wait until Jan when I cruise.

LORRIE: How is Willow doing? How are you?

I miss some oldies here---Wisteria, HDL, Judy, ...

HAMMY, TAMBRE: How are you guys?

Sara: Hugs to you and yours! You are in my daily thoughts and prayers.

So here is the scope of it. I will have the open with or with out an agent, explained to her that this would be good exposure for her and her office--30-40k people with in 1 mile of this place, geezzeee gimme a break! So she is gonna advertise the open, bring out the signs, print flyers ect but ----but I may be on my own with it! I know she is gonna be out of the state that weekend but what about all the other agents????? So she was going to call someone and then call me right back, hmmm that was almost 5 hrs ago, duh.....................

Ah, the female was named Sasha like my little girl - but Sasha was a much more appropriate name for her 'cause she was sweet and girly looking (even if she would hike her leg like a male; don't ask LOL) don't think I'd name a Rott Sasha. Maybe that's why she was meaner than a junk yard dog LOL She's thinking 'Hey! I'm a dang Rott and you name me a girly girl name like Sasha'

Yes, quite a few "Watson's" on the contest. The contes is RIGGED! Someone has over 555 votes since Sunday! C'mon!!! Called someone is flat out cheating. Maybe I'll write those lame aszes. That's obvious cheating!

Sounds good to me girl! Just finished off that entire loaf of bread - knew I was a wierd bird, but man it was fresh out of the oven, baked just perfect - so it is desert time! Bet even Albert would get along with Watson. So let me call my personal pilot and tell him to pick us up - okay he's on his way.

Carol, just do it yourself. I'm sure you'd do a much better job than that agent. You're personable, know all the selling points. Screw her -just do it yourself and then WHEN you sell it, talk to her about reduction in commissions 'cause you had to make all the suggestions, work etc.

Default hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii everyone~

TEX....Peaches n Cream recipe sounds GREAT...do you have to use canned peaches? Couldnt you use fresh peaches? I just made a fresh peach pie tonight..but this time of year, I am eating all the fresh fruit and vegies I can get my hands on

ROTH...send me the link again, I want to see your pictures! On that house that was sold so quickly by the other company..how did it compare to yours? I mean inside and out and pictures too? I would be curious to see them side by side.

I am FINALLY going to close the rest of my deals that were supposed to all close on August 31! WOOOHOOO. I close my first double dip tomorrow at 4 and then the house my sellers bought on Wednesday at 4. I told my broker today I dont know why we even put a date to close on the contract. I think we should put in the date section " ON OR BEFORE or WHENEVER THE BANK GETS ROUNTOIT" Putting a date in there is just an exercise in futility and it doesnt matter what kind of financing it is!

PAINTER, TEX and all the rest still waiting for a buyer...let your state reps know you want the first time home buyer credit program EXTENDED...I am sort of scared of it ending, afraid that will take the gas out of the little bit of umph we have had going this summer. What do the other agents in camp think??

Hows everyone else doing? I had a great Sunday..after my crappy NO ONE showed Open House (there goes another 2 hrs, plus gas, $30 ad down the drain). A dear friend of mine passed away a couple of years ago. Her only daughter just moved back to this area to live next door to her dad while her hubby is in Iraq and she contacted me on FB to have me teach her how to quilt! I am thrilled since my own daughter could care less about any sort of crafting.

Just cause I am not here everyday, doesnt mean I am not thinking of yall....{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}} and prayers all around!
Jody

1/2 bu peaches = 13 qts frozen
2 doz ears of corn = 7 qts frozen
7 pints of 9 day icicle pickles (sweet..GREAT in potato salad)
6 qts of sweet garlic horseradish dill slices
5 pts horseradish red beet relish
Next Up? Bruschetta salsa (aka DYNOMITE spaghetti sauce starter)
Sun Dried Tomato Spaghetti sauce.
I think I will be done for this year after I get the tomatos done.

Also..my friend Phil was here for a visit for 4 days from Australia and I had to get the room he stayed in ready for the visit, which included buying a twin size bed and removing all the other stuff in there... GARAGE SALE IN 2 WEEKS!
