How to go about researching for home owners insurance? What are the normal coverages included? Any website pointers would be helpful too. Thanks a lot in advance.

Call your local insurance agent, have them give you a quote, then you have something to work from. Insurance varies by region I believe so it would be best to search local first to get an idea of local prices.
