Well their realtor got back to us and they would like to keep our desk and our work benches in the garage--so that is good (less to move/dispose of)--
What do you think on shower curtains?

It was a rental, but we moved into a house with false teeth and a parially used fleets enema in the medicine cabinet and a funeral wreath under the house. Ick.

Default Might have been me...

I have (?had?) a big case of those nice high wattage "daylight shade" lightbulbs that I routinely would 'lend' to sellers that were too cheap to get anything better than the 40 watt freebies from ComEd back in the day. Those bulbs are not cheap and they make rooms look a lot cleaner / brighter than a 40 watter that makes everything seem like a scence from a gulag... I would take 'em to the next listing.

The toilet paper I'd generally leave BEHIND

I wouldn't have minded if they did take the light bulbs ... I would've ranted less about the idoicy of installing 100w bulbs in fixtures that are designed for 60w or less. Needless to say, there are new fixtures (with CFLs) now.

At least they (or rather, the trash-out team) took the fridge. 5 months of unrefrigerated food stinks!!

Well I'm one that would change the toilet seats asap so probably wouldn't use the toidy paper. lol So I guess with the gift certificate for new locks & new toilet seats I'm planning on leaving I'll leave a new unopened pkg of TP. What's another dollar or two?

JUST ASK THE BUYER! I am a Realtor who just bought a house from a seller who was moving to a much smaller house. At the inspection, the seller left tags on things that they were thinking of leaving... some stools, a cabinet, a tool storage rack, etc... I said yes to some, no to others.

We're not signing a peace treaty here. Buyers and sellers are HUMANS. Dialog helps.

As long as it is not trash, or junk I'm usually okay with it. I call it neat stuff. I once bought a home and the old owner did not have time to completely clear out the shop behind the home. I offered to let him come by and pick it up, but he just told me to keep it all. About $3000 worth of nice tools.
