I am first time house buyer and bought a house from builder. I want to know what should I do on the closing day?

You might want to search the threads in this real estate section too. There are several that address this process.
Good luck!

We have no idea what your local customs are.

You can:
1. Ask your agent
2. Ask your mortgage person
3. Ask the title company/escrow company
4. Ask the builder's salesperson

The week before closing you will probably do a walk through. Be sure to hire an inspector to come out the day before to do an independent inspection. You can use his report when you do your walk through.

Don't fall for the builders "we have it inspected". Do your own, even builders make mistakes and you are doing the builder a favor by catching problems now. Now is the time to get very picky on all issues.

The day before closing you will do a 2nd walk through to sign off on all the repairs made.

This all assumes you are using a mid-large builder.
