I agree with the others....report this agent to his board ( assuming he is a member of a board) and to the state. This will be your good deed of the year.
As an aside, given you have been listed for sale for 6 months.....why has your home not sold? How many showings did you have? Any second showings?
No doubt, other comparable homes have sold and closed over the past 6 months. The comps that were used to guide you on your initial price ( assuming comps were used) are no long valid. A CMA is a living document. Every new listing, closed sale or price adjustment of comparable homes changes the market.
How did your former agent market your home? How many pictures were used? What was the quality of those pictures? How do those pictures compare to those being shown by the competition?
Did the former agent create a brochure for the home with all its features?
Did your former agent use an electronic lock box for showings? How does your home show compared to the competition?
