A relative is looking to build a house (Mediterranean Style) in the northern VA area.

Does anyone know a builder?
What's the best way to find one?
Is there any way to get house plans (for permit) for free? (online or otherwise)

I work with a builder (in the literal sense...we're in the same office building, we've never transacted together) named Mike Pighini. He works with his sons and they build custom homes. They do EXCELLENT work....in fact, my dream home is one that the Pighini's built. His number is 703-794-8150. I can't answer your other questions, but I'm sure Mike will be able to.
