I just have a pretty generic question. About how long after a showing would you probably know if an offer would be made? do they make it at the showing, next day, next week. I KNOW this varies greatly. just maybe somethint you've noticed?

Typically within 24 hours. Occasionally longer.

we've had one other showing got positive feedback and then never heard anythign else.

They may want to "sleep" on it. So you may not hear right away. I"m finding more buyers are taking thier time before making an offer.

Let us know what happens!!

If they liked the home, you may be hearing from them within the next 48 hours or less. Good luck. Hope this is it!

Good luck, wdw. Let us know what happens. The fellow who made an offer on our place looked at it on Saturday, made the offer on Tuesday. Of course, it was a holiday weekend, but that's how it worked out for us this time.

Its a No. the people said there were to many repairs. but i'm very unsure what they feel needs to be reparied. the duplex is almost 40 years old But its in really good condition adn we've put about 40,000.00 into it this past year to repari everything there are only two things that i know of the kitchen cabinet and the one rooms carpet which we are willing to take money off to have them fixed b/c we do not have the money upfront to fix it. but the rest of the house is in great shape: new carpet, new roof, new septic tank /drainfields, new plumbing, new paint inside and out, new screenings (probably more i'm forgetting also)

so we'll keep trying! (even though i'm not half as optimistic as i sound )

wdwmom, I'm sorry this one didn't work out for you. But there's someone out there who's perfect for your house, I'm sure.

Best of luck.
