No worries. It's a 2 bed, 1.5 bath townhome. It doesn't have everything on my wishlist, but I did a bit of compromising because afterall, it is my first home. One thing that I do love is the neighborhood. The creek (that deems this property a flood zone) is actually a good trail to walk my dog or go bike riding.

I am assuming they carry the fire & dwelling, while you only need 'renters' insurance for your personal stuff .
Can they do that???
oops gotta scoot back later
Great suggestion. I'm going to talk to my agent about all the nitty gritty details and suggestions I got from this forum (thanks community of CD!)

Jon, the creek sounds nice!
Painter, does it cost around $2500 to get your house painted professionally? this was mentioned on the seller confused thread.
Also, is tomorrow the big day? did the =unmentionable= keep their word??

Hey everyone,

Jon, the place your buying sounds great. CDCDguy, we seem to jump to all kinds of topics on here, so don't worry about just talking about real estate transactions. How are things now that you are house free? For those with showings...git'er done! Sit back and enjoy your house now that it is scrubbed, dusted, polished and vacuumed. Feel confident that it is a beautiful house and that the buyers would be lucky to live there. Stoy, I can relate to painting and cleaning before guests arrive. What I would like to know is why when I try to cook for company, it always turns out differently, than when I cook for my family. Does this happen to anyone else? It's going to be near 100 degrees here tomorrow. Whoever invented air conditioning deserves a medal of honor..ok campers...have a great evening!

So I will be running the vacumn in a moment, maybe the dd will wake up, the little snot. Then she can pace the floors with me, lol, or listen to me cuss/ rant if the lady doesn't show up..............should we take a vote..show or no show?

Campers: Any news from showings/no shows, closing possibilities, flood insurance, buyers sending offers via singing telegrams, candy grams, strip-a-grams, (oh, wait, that's just the regular mail lady in this heat). Crazyma, your dh is a doll to mow in this heat.

Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there....CDCDguy, or Jon, perhaps you are Dads, if so, HFD.
