We've already made fruit-filled butterscotch fudge and maple walnut fudge - next is copy cat version of Mrs. Fields decadent chocolate fudge. I also plan to try my hand at peppermint bark this year. Going to try the way cheesehead1 described above - sounds easy enough!

I tried this for the first time this year with my 8 yo dd and her friends... it was sooo easy with them, and a big hit too.

I also melted candy chips and let them make their own candy with various molds. This is something I've done every year with my kids, beginning when the oldest was about 5. They have a GREAT time and are very impressed with themselves when they are done.
