Swabian recipe (lentils, cooked, noodles, vinegar)

When we visitied our American friends in Madison, Wisconsin last fall we cooked them a typical Swabian (South Germany) dish: Lentils with swabian noodles and saussages. The secret was, that we put vinegar in the lentils and our American friends loved it :-)
