The dog always loved everything!

Kids are creatures of habit, they like predictability and security of pork chops on Monday, tacos on Tuesday, they like the same thing. My family was more about plain food cooked well, than fancy new recipes.

I never ran a "cafe", if you did not like the dinner menu, you could eat a bowl of cereal, or a sandwich. That you made yourself!

My family loves it when I try new recipes. We have our favorites, but so often, the "new" recipes, become our new favorites! LOL I'm blessed to have a family who doesn't complain about new dishes. I get so tired of making the same things over and over. Fortunately, I have a family who gets tired of the same things over and over again. LOL It is funny though, if I haven't made one of our "old favorites" in a while, bringing it back into the menu makes it feel like a new dish and there is a renewed interest in it. "Wow, we haven't had this in such a long time! How come you stopped making it?" ...What they'd forgotten was that 6 months before, they were eating just because that's what was for dinner.
