Hey heveryone,
I was hoping perhaps someone here could help me out.
Never made a biscuit before from scratch and I want to make some for tonights dinner.
I have everything I need on hand and will search a few recipes online and choose the one that looks the best and easiest.
I know my way around dough and a rolling pin, just not sure if there is a procedure to get the flakey thing going on..
There has to be somebody here that makes biscuits..
Just a little advice and maybe even your tested recipe.

I have all purpose flour and about 3 cups of self rising. I can make my own self rising flour if I need to do that.
And it's for out of town company so i'm hoping it comes out right, Use them as guinea pigs they will be 1500 miles away by monday

ok, not sure what ^ that's about.. but..

I've made these before and they came out good but the recipe calls for milk, not buttermilk.
