My family loves this and it makes so much, especially since I usually add 1 onion, couple stalks of celery and fresh garlic. Basic recipes doesn't call for any veggies but I can't make anything without onion and celery and garlic.

Combine these ingredients (and veggies if you like) in crock pot

1.5 Cups ketchup
3T brown sugar
1T Worcestershire sauce
1T soy sauce
1T cider vinegar
.5t garlic powder or fresh garlic

add 2- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts and coat chicken well.

cook on high 3-4 hours or all day on low.( In a crockpot you really can't overcook this even if 8 hours but if you leave the lid on it does get a little watery and then I add a bit of cornstarch mixed with water first and bring sauce to boil to thicken it.)

when chicken is done take it out and shred it with 2 forks then put it back in sauce.

I serve it on buns or over baked potatoes or just by itself.
Yield depends on how many breasts you use but it freezes well .

Hope you enjoy it

A slight variation on your dish.

Brown chicken (bone in chicken breasts) in a little clarified butter or evoo in a large skillet with a lit. Add sauce (see above) and stir to coat chicken all over, add aromatic veggies. Cover and cook in oven for 90 minutes.
