Directions:

    1.Place the Italian sausage links, spaghetti sauce, green pepper and onion into a slow cooker. Stir to coat everything in sauce.

    2.Cover, and cook on Low for 6 hours. Serve on hoagie rolls.

My DH loves this with a little variation I place the sliced green peppers on the bottom, sweet Italian sausage on top, and Prego Traditional on top of that. I simmer low all day. He likes his sausage mushy....I don't

I also take the lid off and spoon off the fat in the sauce. I usually do this twice during the cooking time.
