I'm looking for a recipe (I use to make this years ago but lost the recipe) where you make muffins or cupcakes with a cream cheese center. You need to mix I think it's lemon juice or something with the cream cheese before dropping a tad in the center of the cupcake so that when it cooks the cream cheese is in the center.

Anyone have a recipe for this?

I know Starbucks has them and I've looked everywhere online for one and can't find one. :-) Your help will help me.

Thanks

I'm not going to dig it put and copy it for you, but I have a mocha cupcake recipe where you fill the cup 2/3 full, add a spoonful of cream cheese mixture, carefully, and then top off the batter. It bakes up with teh cream cheese in the center.

Cream cheese, coconut, and chocolate chips for the filling. You could probably make cheesecake batter and use that. Lots of cheesecake recipes and some of them use lemon.

Here is one for pumpkin muffins

You could use their recipe for the filling, and drop it in the middle of pretty much any cupcake or muffin recipe you like. Switch out the vanilla extract if that doesn't mesh with the flavor of the batter you choose.

This sounds similar to my favorite Black Bottom cups... Chocolate cupcake with a cream cheese & chocolate chip recipe. It's very rich. Eat them once a year at thanksgiving; spend the rest of the year working it off.
