Me too. It's soul food for me. I like dill pickle on mine. Sometimes capers and olives.

No need for lamb.

A splash or two of a good hot sauce.

Hey - I prefaced my post with a veg*n - friendly response. This isn't a strictly veg*n thread and just because we have a prior disagreement regarding a veg*n post I made, that shouldn't propagate across threads. I don't feel the need to convert you or defend my position - nor should you feel the need to convert me.

I accept the veg*n lifestyle and I don't feel the need to convert or judge those who live by it. However, I am not veg*n and I would like the same respect.

I eat lamb and I don't apologize for it. You don't, and I respect your position.

I am not a lover of hummus, feta cheese or pita bread, so I would probably not get terribly excited about that combo, but I have had some hummus that has been pretty tasty. I would suggest, adding lemon juice, some garlic and a little spice, maybe something with a kick, like tabasco or some other hot sauce.

Add veggies. Red onion. Tomatoes, red peppers, even better roasted. Lemon juice, fresh cracked pepper...yum.

I love Sabra hummus. It's my favorite, other than home made. I think Sabra has more flavor and I like the texture.

My favorite varieties of Sabra are sun dried tomato, pine nut, and olive.
