Corn Bread Casserole
I've been looking for that something new for Thanksgiving, and I found it at a friends party. It is called Corn Bread Casserole, and it is delicious!
1 can cream corn
1 can kernel corn
8 oz. of sour cream
1 box Jiffy corn bread mix
1/4 cup sugar
1 stick margarine or butter
Combine all ingredients and bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes
If you like corn bread, you'll love this!

I used to make something like this years ago, but it had a different name I can't remember. The recipe I used also called for pickled jalapeno peppers. Gave it a kick!

This sounds like a Paula Deen recipe I've made. It's just right when you want to make something different.

Yeah, my recipe is the same as the original except it calls for jalapenos, and I don't think it had the extra sugar, the creamed corn gave it enough sweetness.
It really is tasty, we had it for Thanksgiving.

Isn't there something about adding cheese to it too? Put in half of the batter in the pan, add a layer of shredded cheese and then more batter. I think that's how it goes. Man I LOVE this stuff!!

This is wonderful....This is like the Paula Deen recipe. I made it for a party at work and everyone loved it. My six year old son even liked it(miracles do happen-LOL).
