I usually just season and pan grill salmon and either serve it with rice or on a salad.

I have been known to poach it or grill it and then flake it and add it to a white sauce (cream sauce) and perhaps add frozen peas or peas and carrots and either serve it with a boiled potato or egg noodles or on toast. In NH they used to make "salmon pie" which I think was creamed salmon either covered with a pastry or with mashed potatoes and baked in the oven...that was sometimes a diner favorite. But I like it best just seasoned with cajun salmon seasoning and grilled.

Well it turned out good, it was very light tasting...i think i wanna try that maple syrup one though..yum

I bet in was delicious and do try the maple syrup one just "for the halibut".
