The French toast is 'browned' in butter.
That could be considered fried.

Go to the website for Blue Mountain Mist near Gatlinburg, TN and read about their breakfast spread. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what they offered for breakfast. It's a wonderful inn with gorgeous views and incredible food.

Ha, it was fun to see your post. I have stayed there. It was good, but not the best I have ever had at a B&B. Also, their website is misleading as to what is offered and to what they serve.

We stayed there as well - in one of the cottages with the Jacuzzi in the living room. The breakfast spread we experienced was exactly as they describe - and the amount of food they prepared was incredible.

When were you there? We stayed in the corner suite upstairs.

By the way Dirt, if you love good B&B breakfasts one of the best ever is here:The Blair-Moore House B&B . If you click on the youtube video on their page you can see some of the food at the end of the video. Absolutely out of this world. If you ever make it up to Jonesborough you won't be disappointed staying there due to the food alone.

It's been at least eight years. We love staying at B&Bs. We stayed at Two Meeting Street Inn in Charleston, SC where you awaken to the incredible aroma of baking bread and baking pastries. In late summer/fall, if you dine alfresco, you'll be surrounded by the wonderful fragrance of Fragrant Tea Olive blooms.
