Fruit smoothies and frozen mixed drinks (margaritas, daiquiris, screwdrivers, etc.) only.

Guess I'm not very creative with my blender!

(Never thought of making soup with it ... will have to try that!)

I tired to make soup with my Vitamix, just didn't work out. Everything was "cooked" but the flavors didn't have time to blend, so it tasted kind of raw still.

Milkshakes, smoothies, cracker or bread crumbs, aioli, toum, puree beans or potatoes for thickening soups, dutch babies/pancakes/crepe batter, sofrito... Yeah I use mine a lot. It's next to my stove ready to use.

I use my immersion blender a lot more than my regular blender. I mostly use it to puree tomatoes or roasted red peppers for pasta sauces, make salad dressings, BBQ sauces, brines, and things like that.
