Some of the newer models come with improved features. Modern dudes know their way around a frying pan. And a vacuum cleaner. You can find us down at the nails salon every second week getting a pedicure.

DirtGrinder and a couple of others has brought up the Aretha Frankenstein's mix several times, so I decided to order some mix Thursday. It is now sitting in the kitchen. I'm going to try the mix in the morning. Hope its as good as all the hype. I do love me a great pancake

We really like them. Hopefully, your family will enjoy them. Either way, get back on here and let us all know. If you don't like them I'll stop mentioning them.

We use an old cast iron fry pan. I read that the old ones were made with a more dense cast iron, so food is less likely to stick. (but pan still has to be pretty hot, as already described here) Before we found the old cast iron fry pan, we used Teflon. We were surprised, but the old cast iron works just as good, even better since it will last forever.

Yum, gonna go make pancakes. Thanks for the idea.

We tried the pancake mix. It is all the Posters here hyped it to be. I love it. Even my wife, who hates pancakes, ate two small ones. Thanks for the suggestion.

* I wonder if it is the Baking soda and farina that make it taste so unique, creamy-good?

GREAT!!! <backflip> <backflip> I'm not sure which ingredients make them so good, but we just love those pancakes. Our local Publix stores carry the mix.
