Ingredients
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp dry oregano
  • 1/2 tsp marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp dry basil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 1/3 cup warm water (105 degrees F)
  • 1/4 cup non-fat dry milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 2 tbs vegetable oil
  • 9 oz vegetable oil
  • butter flavored cooking spray
  • Mozzerella cheese
  • Pepperoni

Directions

Start by making the dough.
In a large bowl, add yeast, salt, sugar, and dry milk.
Now add in water and start mixing.
Let it sit for a few minutes, then add in oil and continue mixing.
Add in flour and continue mixing until dough forms and the flour disappears.
Put the dough on a flat surface and knead for 10 minutes.
Seperate dough into 3 sections.
Grease 3, 9 inch, cake pans.
Roll the dough out into a 9 inch circle.
Put in cake pans.
Use cooking spray to grease the edges of the dough.
Cover the pans with plates and let rise for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Make the pizza sauce by combining tomato sauce, oregano, marjoram, basil, and garlic salt.
Let the sauce sit for an hour.
Now you can start making the pizzas.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Place 1/3 cup of sauce on each dough and spread all over.
Make sure to leave an inch of space for the edge.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on the pizza.
Add pepperoni and sprinkle more cheese over the pizza.
Bake pizza until crust is brown and cheese is bubbly.

Isn't 9 oz vegetable oil excessive?

What stood out to me was the recipe for the sauce and too much flour for the water it called for. And yes the oil, it's clearly a typo though. The 2 tbsp sounds doable.

ETA: Googled the recipe, now it makes sense. It's a copy cat of the pan pizza from Pizza Hut. Which has a really greasy crust. I know as this is my mom's favorite pizza. Here's the recipe, http://www.food.com/recipe/pizza-hut...an-pizza-91827

The recipe in the OP should read 9 oz oil, 3 oz per pan. Not to be mixed in the crust.

I was guessing the 9 oz vegetable oil is supposed to be 9 oz something else, I can't figure it what it might be, and of course 9 oz of the wrong thing is going to destroy that recipe. It's supposedly copycat Pizza Hut pepperoni pizza.

It is 9 oz of oil, 3 oz per pan. We posted at the same time I found the recipe. There's a step missing from yours, I posted the link.
