Not insulting anyone, responding to a remark made about my recipe. WHY would my response be an INSULT and the statement I referred to not???? I never said that my recipe was for everyone, but I would not expect a spouse to leave over microwaved eggs.
The recipe thread is here to share recipes with those that are interested...I see LOTS that really do not appeal to me personally, but feel no need to post a negative comment about it just because it does not work for me or my spouse.
Again, to each their own....
And just for your info, I only have about 500 more posts than you do, only mine have been READ 6 million more times than yours (according to the stats listed)....
Frankly, I read your post because I wondered who would approve of eating microwaved eggs. I'm not going to try that at home...or in the office or efficiency motel room. I liked TabulaRasa's response. That makes sense to me.
People read our posts because...we've posted. That doesn't make us interesting, funny or intelligent. People read my posts. What does that tell you?
Paka, I would make one suggestion to you. You post recipes and I have never noticed a credit for that recipe. I don't post recipes often, but the very few that I did post, I gave the credit to where I had gotten it from.
Perhaps you are a chef and these are your all own, but if not, you should give the proper credit to where it came from.

No, these are not my own recipes, but I could not honestly tell you where I got them....I have been collecting recipes/cookbooks for years and years now, I have one mailbox folder where I maintain recipes I collect and try and so it would be very difficult to tell you the friend/family member/magazine/newspaper/article/source for them since I TRY them before I post them. Sorry, I'll stop if that is an issue for anyone.
I don't know where 75% of my recipes came from either, LOL
I am grateful I am not the only one that collects with disregard from where it came. Life is TOO SHORT to miss out on something wonderful from the kitchen!
