Hubby loves a really heavy glazed meat loaf. I don't mind it as it flavors the meat well. I typically use tomato sauce, honey and mustard for the topping. I do it halfway baking and again 10 minutes before it finish baking.

Today I didn't have tomato sauce and was looking to see what I could use when I saw tonkatsu sauce in my fridge. I put it on the meat loaf and WOW, it was really good. (I posted a link below if you want to try something like it. It's a like a very tiny bit of sweetened A1 sauce but with more tang)

What other things do you glaze your meat loaf with? And if you don't glaze, that's fine too. I was really just looking for people that do glaze and what do they do it with.

I usually do ketchup, brown sugar, dry mustard, and a dash of Worcestershire.

That sauce you posted looks good...added to my cart.

Usually salsa.
Sometimes a heavy layer of cheddar cheese at the end of baking, broiled brown.
Hoisin sauce/ketchup.
Once in a blue moon I'll use BBQ sauce.
It all depends on what kind of meatloaf I've made.

I use this "sweet and sour sauce" on my meatloaf and the kids LOVE it!

1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons cider vinegar

1/2 cup white sugar

2 teaspoons prepared mustard

bring to a boil in a small sauce pan and let cool....pour over the meatloaf before serving or in the last 10 minutes of cooking ( I use to double and triple the recipe, cause the kids would like it as a "serving sauce" for leftovers and sandwiches.

I was checking baking times for my meat loaf as I always forget how long since I rarely make it when I came across this recipe. I am SOOOO going to make this next time!

French Onion Soup au Gratin Stuffed Meatloaf - Cupcakes & Kale Chips

I've made French onion mac and cheese so the above probably will be a winner too.

Campbell s Golden Mushroom Soup

Last ten minutes of cooking, just pour it out of the can and spread with a spoon

I really like my Meatloaf to taste like a giant Italian meatball, the golden mushroom
soup add a very distinctive taste without over powering the loaf.
