Home made English muffins are delicious, but if money is the only reason, Costco sells a large package of English muffins for a decent price. They are really good English muffins and they freeze well.

I think the Thomas's English Muffins are good, but you pay extra for the brand name. There are several companies that make English muffins for cheaper. Whatever your local commercial bakery is, try them.

Because you normally toast English muffins they don't have to be made fresh today. They can be purchased really cheaply at teh day old bakery store, if you happen to have one in your area, and those are stiff quite good once they are toasted.

I use English muffins and also bagels to make mini-pizza. Those go into the freezer for microwave meals. They come out very tasty.

I can see that but my kitchen is like my toy/workshop for me. I love playing there

I made 18 English muffins today. cost about $1.50. [ baking supplies are going on sale everywhere] It does not take much work and you can cook them all at once if you use your griddle [unless you are cooking more than I did.
