That's what I'm thinking. What are you trying to accomplish, OP? And how are you going about it? A can of Campbell's French Onion Soup (for example) with a few fried onions in it isn't going to be "French Onion Soup". And it certainly won't if you are just taking beef broth and throwing some onions in it or something like that - can you be a little more detailed??
