The reason I know this is I tore into my chicken soup an hour ago as I was starving from near no food the past 48 hours ( too sick to eat )

I just ate it as smashed potatoes with butter and a side of warmed up / boiled left over chicken. I must have been hungry as I ate a big bunch - but sadly really couldn't taste much of anything
Like Dirt Grinder said, that can be the best if you are sick. If mr. diva or I (or, god forbid, both of us) get a head cold, sometimes the best thing to do is make a chili pepper hot and spicy chicken soup. You can make some version of a tortilla soup, and the bonus of using spicy chilies is they can make your nose run, thus clearing out your sinuses a bit. Here's a decent recipe that can accommodate modification, and you can use a rotisserie chicken:

Hope you feel better!

Once in awhile, I like to add a can of cranberry sauce to my chicken or especially turkey soup, if I feel it is not tasty enough....very good
