So, I was just reading a Fresh Market ad, and they are selling savory muffins. It seems so simple, but I’ve never thought of making a savory muffin before. Nor have I ever eaten one.

Does anyone routinely make them, and if so, can you post a recipe?

That's the only one I've made myself, turned out ok and VERY filling. There's a video of him making them somewhere... worth trying and I'll probably make more at some point.

Otherwise I've had savory Scones, which are a little different than a muffin. Best was in Santa Fe, green chili and cheddar... yum.

I have made these a number of times and they are delicious (with some alterations):

OAMC Sausage Muffins

I usually add Garlic Powder, a bit of minced onion, a couple of drained cans of Green Chiles, extra seasonings (whatever I think sounds good from the spice rack) and I substitute the bulk breakfast sausage for a Vegetarian sausage (that's personal preference, but any kind of gourmet sausage that has been cooked and cut up would probably make these better than just using regular).

They're overall easy to make and very yummy Half the recipe the first time you make them as it makes a lot!
