A friend told me about this:
https://peaceloveandlowcarb.com/pork...2dKL6QTx6d2f00
I totally butchered the recipe, just eyeballing quantities, but in a good way:
- I use jarred minced garlic, and more than is called for.
- I didn't use the onions (green or other) at all.
- I used WAAAYYY more ginger (jarred minced) than it called for.
- I used minced chicken instead of pork.
- I used piri piri instead of sriracha or garlic chili sauce. And much more than is called for.
- I used broccoli slaw instead of coleslaw. Actually, the second time that I made it, I used two bags—one broccoli slaw, the other coleslaw—but left all other quantities the same as the original recipe so that it would be uber-veggie.
- You can use regular soy sauce. I used tamari but when I run out of that, I'll use regular soy sauce.
- I didn't put any sesame seeds.
So, yeah, I changed the recipe a lot.
It's delicious. And I think that my extra ginger made it super-yummy.
