I hate plain oatmeal. but trying to eat healthy, so I have the brown sugar, high fiber Quaker oatmeal.....love it with walnuts

Well, I have read that among older Scots, some have the custom of pouring a healthy tot of uisqebagh into the porridge to get the day started.

I can't eat plain oatmeal. I have to sweeten it with either brown sugar or maple syrup. I have also done honey

I add a little bit of salt -- and pour milk on top, nothing else! And we always use old-fashioned oats.

I enjoy savory oatmeal. I put a triangle of laughing-cow (Alternative cream cheese). This gives the oatmeal a very creamy texture. Then I add a little bit of avocado… Red onion… Pepper and garlic salt. Then top it off with an over easy egg. Delish!
