Default Beetnik Cake - Chocolate Cake with Beets
I'm looking for a recipe for a chocolate cake...It had beets in it. I think its called Beetnik Cake? I could be wrong... but any help would be appreciated!

It sounded awful, so I checked your link. I guess its a way to get the kids to eat beets. Oddly, theres a recipe link for Chocolate Saurkraut cake on the same page.

My grandmother makes a yummy chocolate cake using dates (which I hate) and you can't taste them at all. I'd guess this cake is the same way.

That sounds delicious, actually. The cinnamon, pineapple and allspice would more than cover up the taste of the beets. I wonder what color it would come out if you used golden beets...

...Chocolate Sauerkraut cake sounds like an atrocity on a level with those chocolate-dipped pearl onions people like so much in Japan.
