Well I finally got around to canning my funky cukes, whatever kind they are. The amazing thing, these cukes stay crisp forever so they should be good. I got 4 pints and will let them sit for a couple weeks before tasting them. Of course I added jalenpenos and sliced onions, we will see!!!! If them work, who knows, I could become famous, it they don't I am going to have a heck of a lot of those cukes just rotting in the garden.

I don't know if I should feel sorry for you or slap you around for getting rain, when we are doing good to get a drop or two...I guess none of us are ever happy with God and/or mother nature...

I'm thinking about staying up all night to can tomatoes, and then sleeping all day tomorrow.

Feel free to talk me out of it.

No way could I stay up all night last night! That was nuts to even think about it.

Right now I'm waiting for the dishwasher cycle to end so I can jar up the tomatoes. The yellow ones I'll chop and I'm set aside for salsa, which will be put together while the tomatoes are processing (in the new pressure canner! Yay!) and processed tomorrow.

Tomorrow's another day! LOL
