1lb Hamburg
1 Onion, peeled, and diced
1 tablespoon of chile powder, I did add more
1 teaspoon cocoa
2 cans kindney or pinton beans, I just got 1 of the beans for the chilie-did seem fine
salt and pepper to taste
3 to 4 cans of tomato juice-i did start with 3 that did watch
1 tablespoon of flour then when I did add more juice, I like thick-did add more flour
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
using a deep kettle brown meat lightly, add onion, then when browning, add beans-I did find, one can good-stir in flour salt and peper to taste, then sugar, then slowly tomatoe juice either 3 to 4 cubs-I did toss in some left over tomatore-then let it simmer at least 1 hour-I like thick-when I did warm it up, I did the micowave and had the cheese melt-not so bad!
also it will freeze well-I did add some hot tabasco to it- you can always do this later. You also might add corn-or just do this later, anyway, it was real easy, not too costly, and serve with a salad, or etc, makes for cheap and easy coking! I also did add more of the chile powder! I just had a big fry pan with a cover,It also did smell great! I had it with a salad, froze the rest!
I use ground chuck and hot bulk sausage in my chili.
Onions, garlic, chili powder, flour
